Measuring the Speed of Light with Marshmallow Bunnies

The speed of light is measured in a microwave oven using the frequency of the microwave and the wavelength in a pyrex full of marshmallows by measuring the distance of the hot spots.

A brief animated historic overview of how the speed of light was attempted to be measured by Galileo and Fizeau. Then the actual experiment using marshmallows and a microwave oven, measuring with a ruler the distance between hot spots, which is half a wavelength and then doing the calculations to find the speed of light.
